AQIU Welcomes Dr. Harun Arrashid as Assistant Professor
Agri Queen International University (AQIU) is delighted to welcome Dr. Harun Arrashid, an accomplished HZAU scholar and researcher, who has joined the university as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
Dr. Arrashid completed his postdoctoral research training at Guizhou University, China, where his research focused on molecular cytogenetics and oligonucleotide (oligo) probe mapping of Cactaceae species.
He earned his Ph.D. from Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), China, where his doctoral research investigated the phenotypic and genetic effects of autopolyploidization in Brassica rapa and Brassica oleracea. His research contributes to the understanding of plant genome evolution, chromosome biology, and the genetic mechanisms underlying polyploidization.
With his expertise in molecular cytogenetics, plant genetics, and genome research, Dr. Arrashid will bring valuable academic and research experience to AQIU. His appointment reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening higher education, advancing scientific research, and fostering international academic collaboration.
